NUERBURGRING, Germany (Reuters) - Ferrari's Felipe Massa said on Saturday he was wearing black bands on his helmet and arm in memory of the victims of a plane crash in his native Brazil that killed some 200 people.
"It's a difficult moment for my country," the Sao Paulo-born Massa told a news conference after qualifying in third place for Sunday's Formula One European Grand Prix.
"I want to try to do something good for the country. That's why I put it on my helmet and arm."
The crash on Tuesday of an Airbus A320 at Sao Paulo's Congonhas airport was Brazil's worst aviation accident.
