South Africa series will be challenging: Kumble

Chennai, March 22 (IANS) India's Test cricket captain Anil Kumble said here Saturday that the three-match Test series against South Africa, beginning here Wednesday, will be a 'challenging' one.

Speaking to reporters, Kumble said the Chepauk pitch is a good pitch. 'It will take spin after the second half of the second day,' he said.

Earlier in the day, the South African team, led by Graeme Smith, arrived here.
