Turkish third division club coach shot dead


ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Gunmen have killed the head coach and goalkeeping coach of Turkish third division side Bafraspor, the club said on its Web site.

The club, based near Samsun on the Black Sea, said two unknown attackers arrived at the club in a white minibus and carried out the shooting on Tuesday morning.

Goalkeeper trainer Ismail Kurt, 43, died at the scene and coach Sedat Gezer, 53, died later at hospital.

The club's manager Engin Ozarslan, 62, was injured in the attack.

No further details were immediately available and the motive for the killings was unknown.
