Rostock (Germany), March 29 (DPA) Jacek Krzynowek scored in injury time as visiting VfL Wolfsburg prevailed 1-0 at Hansa Rostock in German Bundesliga football match. Krzynowek fired a low shot into the net from short range off Alexander Laas' left wing cross Friday night.
Earlier in the match, Rostock goalkeeper Stefan Waechter had made fine saves against Makoto Hasebe, Christian Gentner and Jonathan Santana.
Wolfsburg improved to seventh place with 40 points, just four points shy of a UEFA Cup berth. Rostock languish in 14th place, four points above the drop zone.
The other eight games are on Saturday and Sunday, with runaway leaders Bayern Munich playing a Bavarian derby at second-from-bottom Nuremberg.
