ICC committee to decide on Bindra’s compensation |

Mumbai, April 6: The International Cricket Council’s four-man selection panel that chose the new CEO Haroon Lorgat has also been given the task of working out the compensation package for their new principal advisor I.S. Bindra.
"The compensation package will be worked out by the sub-committee (comprising of Ray Mali (ICC president), David Morgan (ICC president elect), Sharad Pawar (BCCI chief) and Creag O’Connor (Cricket Australia chairman) constituted for the purpose of selection of CEO keeping in view the period to be spent in Dubai and the stature of the post and experience along with my background," Bindra told this paper. "ICC will also provide an office at its new headquarters in Sports City, Dubai. Till the new office is available, I will operate, as a stop gap arrangement, from the facilities available in Dubai," he said.
Appointed for an initial contract period of two years, Bindra will advise and assist the ICC matters relating to the promotion and development of the game including:
Being a principal advisor, Bindra will attend all ICC meetings including the board meetings and for this purpose he will be extended a special invitation by the president. Bindra will directly report to the ICC chief.
