A beaming Shoaib Akhtar said he had been stressed going into the match on Tuesday, but managed to put it behind him. He refused to take questions on the stand off with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and added that he was fit enough to give his best whenever given a chance. "I am ready to give my 100 per cent for whichever team I play and that's what I did here today."
The bowler said the performance was not just his alone but a team effort. "The fielding was exceptional, take Hussey's catch for example. It was one of those days when everything went right for the team and me."
Speaking about his return, he said it had been four months since he had played which was a long time, "But I am happy things went right on my comeback."
