Ireland have caused yet another upset in this World Cup, this time beating Bangladesh convincingly by 74 runs. Bangladesh kept losing wickets at regular intervals and gave themselves no chance at chasing down the target. The Irish bowlers bowled brilliantly and with great discipline with Rankin, Langford-Smith, McCallan and the skipper Johnston all taking 2 wickets each. The good fielding also contributed to the defence of their score. Ireland now have a victory under their belts in the Super Eights and will be proud of their achievment in their first World Cup. William Porterfield was named Man of the Match for his 85.
