| Just 250 kms South of Paris, Magny-Cours makes for a grand setting of the French Grand Prix. The 8th round of the 2007 Championship will see the 17th running of an F1 GP at this venue. The circuit itself is a mix of slow corners and tight hairpins. Magny Cours is unusual in the sense that it is probably the only circuit where drivers cross the start-finish line in first gear. Michael Schumacher dominates the record books at this circuit, having won here in 2006 for a record eighth time. |
