| After 20 years at Suzuka, the Japanese Grand Prix returns to its original home and the Mount Fuji Circuit which staged the first two Japanese GPs in 1976 and 77. The Circuit stands in a rich natural setting with a view of the majestic Mount Fuji. While the Japanese drivers on the grid as well as other former Formula 1 Nippon drivers such as Ralf Schumacher might enjoy a bit of a knowledge advantage - it will be pretty even territory for most others. Mario Andretti was the first ever winner at Mount Fuji with James Hunt taking the flag the following year. |
