Dhaka Test- Day 3... Big win brings big smiles

The Little Master is flabbergasted with Bangladesh?s slam-bam approach. Test cricket is all about playing out the sessions and occupying the crease, but none of the Bangladeshi batsmen were in a mood to tame their flamboyant approach. As a result, the Indians avenged their early World Cup exit by finishing the Test match early and clinched the series comfortably.

Dhaka Test- Day 2... Wash your hands in the flowing Ganges

Indian batsmen made merry against some club-level Bangladesh bowling. Tendulkar and skipper Dravid added one more to their tally of centuries. The Little Master feels the blazing opening spell by Zaheer has made up for the below par performance in the opening Test and the resurgent quickie will inflict more damage in the second innings.

Dhaka Test - Day 1... Decision to bowl first backfires

Bangladesh are paying for the follies of their skipper. The Little Master slams the think-tank of the Bangladeshi team for making a horrendous decision to bowl first in the extremely important game. The Indian openers, on the other hand, showed their character and welcomed the opportunity with open hands.

Chittagong Test - Day 5... An Opportunity gone begging

The Little Master flays Bangladesh for squandering the golden opportunity they had of winning the Test. The real indicator of a team?s performance is Test cricket and Bangladesh have made little effort to earn respect in the longer version of the game. Bangladesh have to shed their timid approach and be more agressive in order to produce results rather than being content with draws.

Chittagong Test - Day 4... Bowlers bat for Bangladesh

The impregnable Bangladeshi tailenders managed to avoid the follow-on. The Indians sans Anil Kumble cleaned the top order but failed to dismiss the lower order. The Little Master emphasises on a need of a genuine quickie in the Indian ranks who can run through the opposition. India need to throw a challenge at the Bangladeshis by scoring quickly and declaring early to prove they are a superior side.

Chittagong Test - Day 2... Weather - The big factor

It's a worst scenario when play is curtailed due to rain and with it India?s aspiration of clean sweeping the series got a jerk. The Little Master feels that Sourav Ganguly and Sachin Tendulkar were tentative when they were approaching their century as it was coming after a sizeable gap. Miscuing the shots cost the two veterans their wickets. India would need to score at a brisk pace as the weather seems to raise its ugly head once again.

Chittagong Test - Day 1... Sachin, Sourav reign supreme

Ask Sachin and Sourav what a rest can do. It has done wonders to them and both now look set for a big score. Wasim Jaffer?s dismissal reminds the Little Master of his own playing days when he too was similarly dismissed on the first ball on three occasions. Dravid and Karthik played a patient innings but India were in trouble again when the duo got out in quick succession. The day would have belonged to Bangladesh but the bland captaincy failed to mount pressure on the experienced Indian middle-order.
