Ireland crash to their first big defeat in this World Cup. New Zealand have shot them out for a meagre 134 runs. Vettori bamboozled the Irish batsmen with his variations to pick up 4 wickets. Bond, Patel and Oram also picked up a couple of wickets. Kevin O'Brien hit a quickfire 49 but it was not enough. New Zealand have another victory in the bag and have their eyes set on the coveted trophy. Peter Fulton was awarded the Man of the Match for his fine 83.
