Sri Lanka have completed an emphatic victory over Ireland. Jayasuriya and Jayawardene dealt in boundaries and sixes to chase the total in quick time. Ireland did manage to pick up a couple of wickets but that did was not enough to pose a challenge to the Lankan batsmen. Sri Lanka now go to the semis with a victory and Ireland go back home with their heads held high. They have done their country proud with a fantastic show. Farveez Maharoof was named Man of the Match for his splendid bowling.
